Haze
Haze is another new addition! He is about a year old and super friendly. Just came in Monday night, extremely dirty and had fleas. He eats a ton at the colony and has been there all times of night and day. Happily he is now vetted, inside, safe and getting rid of the outside filth! He no longer has to worry about the other cats attacking him and sharing food with raccoons and opposums. He's so happy I couldn't get him out of food bowl for great picture!
Darla
Darla is stunning – yet she doesn’t know it! She is a domestic long haired girl approx. 7 years young whose caretaker passed away. She can be shy at first, but likes to be pet and get attention on her terms. She will require daily brushing to keep her fur matte free. We don’t know if she doesn’t groom thoroughly due to depression from losing the home she knew or not, but she had a grooming appointment and the amount of hair they had to brush out was unreal! Darla will need time to adjust and proper introductions like a lady deserves. She’s fine with other cats. If you have the patience to give her time to adjust and a little cat savvy to keep her pretty and groomed properly, she will thrive in a calmer environment. If so, she’s your girl!! Please fill out an application to make her part of your family.
Juliette
Juliet aka Juliette is a beautiful special needs girl that has had a tough time in her short 2 to 3 years of life. She was brought into foster where it was discovered she was having seizures. She went for bloodwork and then the person caring for her had a medical procedure done and unexpectedly passed away. Meanwhile no one was aware that she had ordered and not yet picked up the meds! The girls caring for her decided it was kinder to put her down – but we took her in, found her prior records and started the medication. Juliet will require an adopter that can consistently administer pills in her food twice a day. She will be able to live a long happy and healthy life as long as she receives her meds and goes for her bloodwork as needed. The medicine is not expensive and the love she will give you in return well worth it! She’s a quiet girl and very well behaved. She’d be a pleasure as a permanent family member. She is fine with other cats, would be best in an adult household and still a bit leary of dogs but adjusting. Loves to watch her surroundings and get pet, but not a fan of being picked up. If you have it in your heart to give this girl a good comfortable stress free life please apply to make her part of your family. She’s been through enough and deserves to have a stable loving home to call her own!
Alfredo
Alfredo is a curious young adult boy who likes his windows and soft beds. He is used to be around multiple cats and comfortable with resident dog in foster home. He has been through a rough patch in his life and will need a little time to adjust but adapts rather quickly and is a very good boy that would be a pleasure to have in your home. He would possibly be best in a home with other pets to interact with since he is a bit of a follower. He watched what the resident cats did and wanted to be a part of what they were doing. He loves attention and to be pet, by your side by not in your lap. He's not a huge fan of being picked up so if they are older that would be preferable.
All cats are neutered/spayed, FIV/FELV tested, up to date on vaccines and microchipped prior to adoption.
Marble
Marble is a true cuddle bug once he feels confident. A quieter household and a little patience will go a long way and win him over for a lifetime of love, but a string toy will win the day! He needs someone who will play, cuddle, and not get upset when he has fun with his water bowl and, of course, shower him with toys and affection. His mother Diamond and brothers Flint and Slate also looking for homes.
